UWC SELEKSI TAHAP 3 (2)

Hello there! back again with another story about UWC Selection Process in Stage 3. Mungkin buat yang belum baca post aku pertama bisa baca di sini ➡UWC Seleksi Tahap 3 (1)

Soo sebenernya kita bertiga (aku Nuke, Cherly) rencananya pengen bangun jam 4an or at least jam 5 lahh, soalnya kita harus siap di Emerald Room at 8 a.m and we could have our breakfast start from 6 a.m. Butt realitanya kita baru bangun jam 6.45 am gt tp masih pada males malesan dan baru mandi tuh jam 7.15 semuaa wkwkwk.. wajar sih td malem kita tidurnya jam set1 semuaaa soalnyaa.

Then abis breakfast kita langsung ke Emerald Room nya for like opening ceremonial and introduce the panelist or the judges for the interviews session. Basically the 26 Finalist divided into 2 groups Soekarno and Hatta. So the Soekarno group which is my group is having the entire interview in Oria Hotel im Saturday (3/3) and have the Social Activities in Sunday (4/3) in Rumah Singgah CISC. So today i'm having all the interview process with the others finalist in Soekarno Group.

For Interview, they split it into 3 parts. Psychotest, Interview with the judges, and the NC Session. After all the member in group Soekarno finish all the interview, we're having a group discussion about some topic and then we present it in front of our judges. For NC session its only one room ( all of us meet the same NC her name is Kak Erin) but for psychotest and interview they have two rooms that filled with different person.

Jadi kalo aku urutannya Psychotest, Interview with panelist, baru NC Session. Buat Psychotest nya aku kedapetan dosen psikologi UI, namanya Jacinta Rini. Disini ditanyain seputar essay yg udh kita submit yang tentang kepribadian kita dan kegiatan kita gt sih. Gilaksi ibu ini keren aja, bener bener kayak psikolog yang paham banget sama kita. Ditanyain nya juga macem macemm kek kita gimana kalo sekolah, kegiatan apa pa aja yang kita ikutin, kayak pokoknya intinya kita itu digali kita orangnya kayak gimana. Aku disini gak tegang gimana gitu sih soalnya malah excited dan aku ngerasa seneng bahagia lega banget pas keluar. Cuma disini yang keren si Ibu Rini nya ini bener bener paham banget sama situasi ku, dia tau part mana yang harus di gali ttg aku dan bisa banget bikin nangis. But after all it was a good one.

Setelah dapet Psychotest, balik ke lounge buat nunggu giliran selanjutnya. Di lounge ini disediain kopi, teh, air putih, sama snack gt. Kita bisa makan itu semua sambil nunggu giliran.Bener-bener yang punya Oria Hotel generous banget, she provided all the hotel for the finalist, National Committee and even the judges.  Dan yang asik kita tuh pas nunggu giliran bener2 kek orang indonesia banget, kek malah cerita cerita bukannya yang ambis mikirin interview masing masing. Sampe ditegur tiga kali lebih sama NC nya soalnya kita rame buanget.

Yeahh sebenernya agak nervous mikirin tentang interview panelist nya, butt karena bener bener di team Soekarno nih bikin moodnya relax santai and make it like a fun interview. Soo saat aku masuk ke panelist aku bener bener yang santaii, jawab ajaaa gaperlu takut dan syukurnya di ruanganku itu ada 3 orang yang masih muda muda gt, jadi aku lebih nyaman njelasin dan answer all the questions. Nama nama panelist yang di ruanganku sebenernya ada 4 panelist, cuma satunya Ibu Yenny yang punya Oria Hotel si kayaknya itu lagi gaada, jadi aku cuma wawancara sama 3 panelist. Nama nama kakaknya ada Oliza Azwan, Kak C.H alias Christian Limawan, and the last one was a Native from Spain her name is Beatriz Chivitez.

The interview was wonderful. I can't say much about this but one thing that i want to share with you is it's not that hard interview because their goals the NC plan is to know us better. So we should be Ourself. You should be yourself when you answer all the questions. Because it's all about you, your opinion, your experiences, your personality, and your daily activities and what you think about the current news. Yeah if you already know about UWC mission, it's more in social way because the IB Curriculum not only about academic but also about social issues. So i think it's important to just answer all the question with honesty and you'll be fine.

Setelah keluar dari panelist, aku malah ketawa ketawa dan seneng gt bisa ngungkapin semua yang aku rasa aku pingin bilang ke panelistnya. After that we had a brief lunch-break for about 1-1.5 hour and then continue the entire interview project.

Lastt aku masuk ke NC Session. Kalo disini lebih dijelasin kehidupan sebenernya gitu disana tentang perbedaan, culture shock, and most cases that will happend there. Disini kak Erin lebih nanya pendapat kita tentang hal hal yang mostly happened in the UWC sihh, jadi lebih kek ngobrol biasa but yeah, dia keren orangnya bisa enjoy but serious at the same time.

After all three part of the interview, we're having a group discussion. We'll be giving 5-8 topics and its up to us which topic we would like to talked about. Kita dikasih waktu 10 menit buat diskusi dan 20 menit buat presentation to all the judges.

Singkat cerita malam harinya kita punya banyak freetime dan sekalian dinner, kita bahas ttg kegiatan SA (Social Activities) besok yang bakal dilakuin di CISC Rumah Singgah for Cancer Survivors.
